Transforming India's Army: A Three-Phase Roadmap

   • Self-Reliance (Atma Nirbharta): Central to the strategy; emphasizes indigenisation in defence manufacturing and technology absorption.
   • Accelerated Innovation (Anusandhan): Transitioning from experimental platforms to impactful enterprise-level innovations in AI, cyber, quantum, and autonomous systems.
   • Adaptation (Anukulan): Reforming and adapting to a changing military ecosystem.
   • Integration (Ekikaran): Enhancing synergy among academia, industry, and armed forces for deeper military-civil fusion.

   • Acknowledges a shift from Cold War bipolarity to a fragmented global security landscape fraught with conflicts, necessitating India’s military transformation.
