Increased ITBP Patrols Along China Border

• Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP):

• Increase in Patrols:

  • 2024-25 Report: 4,503 patrols conducted from April 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

    • April 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022: 2,899 patrols (average ~322/month).

  • Some areas have become “buffer zones” with no troop presence from either side.
