State Engagement

  • Preliminary work has begun in states and union territories:
    • 29 states have identified early groups for the initiative.
    • 25 states have notified their state operation committees.
  • Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are to be signed to formalize industry and institutional partnerships.

  • The initiative is aligned with governmental efforts to strengthen vocational training and enhance employment capacity.
  • It represents a strategic move to develop high-quality vocational institutions and adapt curricula to meet future job market demands.
