Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Initiatives on Zoonotic Diseases

1. Government Initiatives:

   • The Uttar Pradesh Animal Husbandry Department is enhancing capabilities for the early identification and reporting of zoonotic diseases.
   • Development of a Compendium for Veterinarians on Zoonotic & Priority Animal Diseases to improve veterinary knowledge and standardize case definitions and reporting.
